i drew my sketches for my box art again as i lost the first copy. i then carried on creating my box art for my game and nearly finished my box art on the front up to a good standard. tomorrow i am going to finish of the front and nearly complete the back of the box art as well. the image above shows the front of the box art. i cut all of my images out from the original image with a soft brush so that the image would blend into the background image. i also changed the colours of the images so that they match each other. as shown in the image above  shows the one of the original images without it being edited. and then in the box art image it shows the imaged edited and changed colours.

today we only had one lesson on digital graphics and we carrying on with the box art unfortunately i was unable to change it because i decided that the image i had didn't go with the other images so i had to find an image that did go with the others. the other images were photorealistic where as the image i had was stylised which would not go well. the picture below shows the image i had on the right and then the new image on the left.

today I created image logging sheet for my project. will all of the relevant information like having the barcode as that will be needed for box art because when the game is sold in stores they would need something to scan. i also have put the age rating in the table as this will be needed because it will mean that people under that age are not allowed to buy the  game. the company that created the game will also need  to be on it because then people that like the game can look at the other games that that company have created and try them. having an image of the background image that will be on the box art is important as then when it comes to creating the box art people can see the different images that where put together to create it and see the images individually. Also images of the requirements from the game before are also put in the table this is because they will be put on the box and they will be the same and wont need to be changed. I also started creating the box art with the background for the image as shown above it is a moody sky look which is a good place for a battle field. the image above is the front of the box.

Today we did the planning for our project. first between 9 am and 10 am we were looking at box art layouts and creating our own layouts in the style of thumb nails. as the image above shows of the example of box art. Then after lunch we created our workflow diagram and also created are schedule plan as shown above. My workflow diagram shows the the first five steps for the project first by starting with the Research and then the Concepts as shown in another Post, then we created the proposal and then we got to creating the schedule, on the schedule i have put three milestones on the schedule to help me make sure that i am on target and am following my schedule. as shown on the image above of the schedule two of the milestones are finishing the whole project and then there is also finishing the HUD the other milestone is finish creating the Box Art.
